Dear viewers,
This is the concluding part of the video showing haircut and styling of our patient Mahi. Thanks to modern ultra refined all follicular unit hair transplants, patients suffering from hairloss can not only get hair, the transplanted hair also looks very natural.
Note: Mahi has gone for a young looking, non conservative hairline. He plans future hair transplants to fill in the crown-swirl area. We will keep you posted of his progress.

Rex - 2600 FUHT grafts (repair HT) 1 year update
Dear Readers,
Patient - Rex
Age - 40's
Race - West Asia
Norwood stage - 6 (if patient had no transplants ever)
The patient nicknamed Rex visited us last year, 2007, with a situation, we find increasingly too often in repair patients.
Before visiting us, he underwent a strip Follicular unit hair transplant at another centre 3 years ago.
Even though follicular unit grafts were transplanted, the results and HT planning left a lot to be desired.
I shall discuss the things that were done incorrectly, in Rex's HT 3 years ago. I hope reading about them will educate upcoming clinics/doctors as to what they should not do.
But first, some pictures and video
video
From now on, we shall have a soundtrack along with the videos.
The current video has background commentary briefly explaining about the procedure. I hope the viewers will find that helpful.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions to further improve the result presentations.
Before pictures

Intraoperative pictures

After 1 + year pictures (?unconventional hairstyle)
I know Rex's hairstyle is a bit unconventional. However, it seems that this hair style suits his purposes well for the present.

Hair Transplant in stages - 900 + FUSE grafts

Dear readers,
Many among you have voiced a question.
What if we wish to go for smaller initial sessions of hair transplants?
The reasons have been varied -
1. A desire to know how natural and safe the outcome is, firsthand.
2. Not to make too drastic a change in appearance.
3. Financial reasons.
Whatever may be your reason to opt for a smaller session, we respect it.
Its advisable, as far as possible, that the smaller sessions be performed by the stitchless FUSE/fue method (rather than the strip FUHT method).
The patient case discussed in this post is one such.
He wished to go for a smaller initial session.
He is happy with the outcome and plans to go for larger session now.
For reasons of maintaining the patient confidentiality, we have changed his name and shall refer to him as Ram.
Ram underwent a 900+ scalp FUSE grafts session, 9 months ago.
The grafts were transplanted in a location where the patient could monitor their growth but were not to visible to onlookers.
The following is a self explanatory picture sequence.
